Obituary of Robert F. Lee

Robert F. Lee, 86, a long time Darien resident, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at his home. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian in 1996, to whom he was devoted. Bob was born in Mount Vernon, NY on July 14, 1922 to the late Frank George and Edna (Heese) Lee. He served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from Pitney Bowes after many years of service. He enjoyed traveling the world and just last year completed a safari in Africa. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Ritcher of Huntington, CT and his nieces, Barbara Walker and Marilyn Tuma. He will be missed by his friends and neighbors. A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
