To Larry's wife Maureen and his children and their families: Larry was a wonderful friend, wise and kind. In his quiet way he made the effort to really understand me, and he always gave me a positive boost when we met. I know you will miss him and so will the many, many others who knew him. He treated everybody the same way, with kindness and understanding. We will all keep his memory and continue to benefit from his kindness and wisdom. My connection with Larry extended to a mutual love of James Joyce's great novel, "Ulysses." Once we established this connection, Larry always sought me out on June 16 to wish me a "Happy Bloomsday!" I'll really miss his joy.
