Obituary of Patricia Goodall

Patricia Goodall of Darien, CT, passed on Friday, October 23, 2009 of cancer at the Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence of Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. Born in Amityville, NY on November 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie (Baldwin) Ehle. Mrs. Goodall graduated from Katherine Gibbs, New York, and worked for Time Life in New York and London, England. She was a member of the Time Life Alumni Society and the Country Club of Darien. A 44 year resident of Darien, she was Darien's Republican Registration Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Republican Town Committee for three (3) terms, and a volunteer in school libraries and the Red Cross. She is survived by her husband John L. Goodall of Darien, daughters Susan Goodall Tennant of New York and Lyme, CT and Katharine Nelson Enright of Needham, MA, and two grandsons, Peter and Cameron. She is also survived by her sister, Nellie Rasmussen of Amityville, NY and two nephews Richard Rasmussen and John Rasmussen. Burial will be private.
