Obituary of Robert M. Brown

Robert M. Brown, a resident of Sherman, CT and a former 11 year resident of Ridgefield, CT, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Born in 1952 in Toronto, Canada, he was the son of the late Joycelyn Shepherd and Robert Brown. He was 57. Robert graduated from Utah State University. He worked in sales and marketing for 18 years with General Electric and then worked for 10 years with Alsthom, International out of Paris, France. Most recently he worked in sales and marketing for Toshiba. He was also ordained in 2004 as a Pastor for a non-denominational church and was active with Pivot House. He was also a parishioner of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Darien, CT. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brown of Sherman, CT; two sisters, Christine Brown Swan of California and Jennifer Brown of Utah; and two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 471 Mansfield Avenue, Darien on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:30 AM.
