Obituary of Nancy M. Riolo

Nancy M. Riolo, a resident of Wilton, CT and a former long time resident of Darien, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury. Born in 1917 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Teresa Panico and Phillip D'Amico. She was 92. Nancy worked as a seamstress for Godfrey Fabric and was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church in Darien. She is survived by her daughter, Maryann R. Lombardi of Wilton and three grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Peter D'Amico and Phillip D'Amico both of Stamford and Louis D'Amico of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Emil L. Riolo in 1975 and three sisters, Josephine Uva, Dorothy Hunter and Rosalie Harkin. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R. C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien.
