Obituary of Joan C. Frank

Joan C. Frank, a resident of the Noroton Bay area of Darien since 1952, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in 1929 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank Valentine Craw and Mabel Cedarwall Craw. She was 80. Joan was a valued employee of the Noroton Yacht Club as a bookkeeper for almost 40 years. She was a long time personal assistant and beloved friend of Avery Brooke. She was also a long time member of Noroton Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, Walter J. Frank, III and his wife, Debbie, of Redding, CT and a daughter, Pam Cullinan and her husband, Jim, of Fairfield, CT. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Brian, Tyler, Walter, IV, Kendall and Danny. She was predeceased by her husband in 2004, Walter J. Frank, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at the Noroton Presbyterian Chapel, 2011 Post Road, Darien on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
