Obituary of Kenneth D. Hamilton

Kenneth D. Hamilton, a former long time resident of Stamford and a resident of Venice, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at St. Joseph's Living Center in Windham, CT. Born on June 20, 1909 n Bedford, IN, he was the son of the late Elva Strother and Robert Hamilton. He was 101 years of age. Kenneth worked as a metal polisher for Electrolux for 37 years. He was a member of the Masonic Union Lode #5 in Stamford. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason, Lafayette Consistory SPRS 32 Degree, Bridgeport, CT and a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #899, Stamford. She is survived by three grandson, Douglas Hamilton, David Hamilton and Scott Hamilton; three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Alma Hamilton, his son, Kenneth D. Hamilton and a brother, William Maguire. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford.
