John Latimer Goodall of Darien, CT, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at his home. Born in England on April 25, 1929, he was the son of the late John Melville Goodall and Edith Christmas Goodall. A 45 year resident of Darien, Mr. Goodall was the Vice President of Marketing of International Tariff Management for 18 years. Prior to joining ITM, Mr. Goodall had an extensive international career with General Electric Company for over 25 years. He was a member of the Country Club of Darien. Mr. Goodall had a B.S. Electrical Degree from the University of London, England and MBA Marketing Degree (Honors) from the University of Connecticut. He also served in the British military. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Goodall. He is survived by his daughters Susan Goodall Tennant of New York and Lyme, CT and Katherine Nelson Enright of Needham, MA, and two grandsons, Peter and Cameron. He is also survived by his two sisters Joan Purvis and Georgina Broh of England, and sister-in-law Nellie Rasmussen of Amityville, NY. A private service is planned.
