Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we know that Lyle will be missed by many. As a young boy growing up in Duluth I would hear of cousin Lyle leaving the farm and seeking his fame and fortune on the East coast. Little did I know then that I too would trace those same footsteps. When our families visited Lyle always brought joy and laughter and we will miss him. May God bless him and his family.

My father-in-law, Lyle Grant was a wonderful, witty man, that always seemed to have a funny saying to brighten up any situation. I am truly saddened by his sudden passing, still in a state of shock over it, actually. I will really miss him, but will continue to share all the good memories of him that I have, that my children have, and all that I hear about him from my husband, Jordan. I am glad so many family and friends will gather this weekend, and was happy to learn that for those relatives unable to make it, we will have a 2nd memorial at next August 2008 Grant Family Reunion in Iowa.

Dear Julie, Connie, Vicky, Michael and Jordan, We were so sorry to hear of Lyle passing away. Our first thoughts were of the many wonderful times we shared way back when and still the relationship we have today even though we did not see each other as much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the wonderful memories that you have give you comfort and peace. May the lord keep you all in the palm of his hand at this most difficult time. With our deepest sympathy, Angie and Gerald Bothwell
