Madeline Bradford Tindle, 94, a Darien resident since 2001 and a former resident of Salisbury, MD, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Smith House Health Care Center in Stamford, CT. Born in Melfa, VA, she was the daughter of the late Fred Thomas and Mary Jane Kellam Bradford. Mrs. Tindle was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD. She was active at the Darien Senior Center during her seven years here in Darien. She is survived by a daughter, Harriet T. Miceli of Darien; two grandchildren, Meredith Anne Miceli and Elizabeth Sara Miceli both of Darien. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Tindle who died in 1980; two sisters, Louise Durkee and Helen Guy and a brother Martin Bradford.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD. A private family interment will be held at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Darien Senior Center, P. O. Box 2144, Darien, CT 06820. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien handled the local arrangements.
